快艇原本一路領先，老將「真理」Paul Pierce一次灌籃沒進後，主控Chris Paul還上前搞笑做「CPR」，但沒想到，他該心肺復甦的對象不是他。
籃網在第四節靠著後衛Sean Kilpatrick單節狂飆20分逼進延長賽，首度延長賽的最後18.6秒，Rivers為了抗議裁判哨音暴怒，被連吹兩個技術犯規趕出場。
雖然快艇最佳第六人Jamal Crawford的三分球又讓兩隊二度延長，群龍無首的他們2OT命中率只有18.2%，飲恨大蘋果。
「我們走進這裡的時候，好像完成了什醫療電動床價格麼了不起的事情，但其實我們沒有，根本沒有。」Rivers賽後說：「反觀他們用心打球，他們只想贏得這場比賽。」
Paul今天繳出26分、10籃板、13助攻，生涯第12次「大三元」，2014年11月以來的第一次，中鋒DeAndre Jordan攻下21分、23籃板。
籃網今天表現最出色的當然就是Kilpatrick，全場38分、14籃板都是生涯新高，中鋒Brook Lopez攻下27分、8籃板。
